<p><strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">OpenLife Nigeria</a> </strong>reports that Nigeria’s Super Eagles have booked a place in the <strong><a href="https://openlife.ng/">AFCON</a></strong> 2025 Round of 16 after edging Tunisia 3–2 in an entertaining Group clash in Morocco on Saturday.</p>
<p>Victor Osimhen, Wilfried Ndidi and Ademola Lookman were on target for Nigeria, whose goals ensured qualification from the group. Osimhen opened the scoring in the 44th minute, finishing a well-weighted cross from Lookman.</p>
<p>Captain Ndidi doubled the advantage five minutes after the restart, once again benefiting from Lookman’s creativity. Lookman then capped an impressive display with a goal of his own in the 70th minute, converting an assist from Osimhen.</p>

<p>Tunisia mounted a late fightback as Talbi struck in the 74th minute before Abdi reduced the deficit further from the penalty spot in the 87th minute, following a handball by <a href="https://www.thisdaylive.com/">Bright Osayi-Samuel</a>. However, the comeback fell short as Nigeria held on for victory.</p>
<p>The Super Eagles will now face Uganda in the Round of 16 on Tuesday at 5pm, as they continue their quest for continental glory.</p>
