Advocacy For Good Governance, AGG, Felicitates With Edo At 31
The Advocacy for Good Governance, AGG, a non governmental organization, formed by Edo indigenes in Asia Continent, has felicitated with all Edolites, home and abroad, on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the State.
Edo State was created on August 27, 1991 by the military administration of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, ret’d.
Rising from its meeting which held at Shinjuku Sakae Building B1, Kabukicho, Chiyoda-Ku, Tokyo, Japan on August 28, leaders of the association called on all the Edo traditional rulers, youths, technocrats, religious leaders and public office holders to re tool their commitments towards the development of the State in all areas.
They noted that at 31, Edo State which is called the HEART BEAT of Nigeria ought to have developed more than it is.
They stressed that what is required to make Edo State attractive to investors and visitors is patriotic and collective commitments to development necessities.
In a statement signed by its co ordinator, Mr. Benson Ehiagwina, the association explained that in line with its core mission of ensuring the enthronement of good governance in the State, the association
would continue to review the socio-economic and political bearings of all activities happening in the State and make input whenever it is necessary so that Edo can attain its greatness and occupy its pride of place in global reckoning.
