In a recent interview, Aladese compared her experiences in Lekki with her previous time living in Magodo, highlighting a stark contrast in her sense of security.

“Walking was part of my daily routine in Magodo,” she explained, “but here in Lekki, there have been multiple occasions when unfamiliar men have followed me.”

Recalling a particularly frightening incident, she added;

“It was only by God’s protection that I got through that day. After that experience, I decided to invest in a treadmill so I could exercise safely at home.”
