ABUAD Ranks Best Private University In Nigeria

<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Afe Babalola University&comma; Ado Ekiti&comma; ABUAD&comma; has been rated best among other private universities in Nigeria&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The rating according to &OpenCurlyQuote;AD Scientific Index’&comma; a development ranking systems&comma; reflects ABUAD’s quality administrative and academic &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Policies”&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The school&comma; founded in 2009 by renowned legal practitioner&comma; Aare Afe Babalola SAN&comma; has&comma; over the years&comma; become a choice to candidates seeking admission to universities&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In its 2021 ranking&comma; AD Scientific Index rated the Ekiti State based university as the best among private universities and the 10th in the pool of both private and public universities&comma; coming just after University of Ilorin&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Universities captured in the rating included University of Ibadan&comma; University of Nigeria&comma; Federal University of Technology Akure&comma; University of Calabar&comma; Ahmadu Bello University&comma; University of Benin&comma; Obafemi Awolowo University and University of Port Harcourt&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A visit to the main campus of the institution by a team of reporters on Friday&comma; September 10&comma; revealed the school has facilities that can be described as the best in the world&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>From a spick and span environment&comma; conducive for learning&comma; the school has&comma; in its offerings&comma; well-funded and equipped Colleges of Medicine with its corresponding Teaching Hospital&comma; Law&comma; Humanities&comma; Engineering&comma; Information Technology&comma; Agriculture as well as Social and Natural Sciences&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Deputy Chief Medical Director&comma; Dr&period; Akinola Akinmade said &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;ABUAD is the only teaching hospital in the country with two functional CT  and two MRI scanning machines&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He maintained that the teaching hospital has the equipment and man power to attend to critical ailments in the country&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Assuring that Nigerians do not have need to fly abroad for medical treatment&comma; Dr&period; Akinmade lauded the founder&comma; Afe Babalola&comma; SAN&comma; for committing enormous resources into the university and indeed the College of Medicine as well as the teaching hospital&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Doctor who took the team round the facilities emphasized that the like of Afe Babalola is rare in Africa in view of his commitment to ensuring that illiteracy is not only banished from Nigeria but professionalism is enhanced in various spheres of life for the needed development&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In an earlier comment&comma; Afe Babalola&comma; SAN who enjoys sound health and balanced emotion even at 91&comma; disclosed that his commitment to quality education stems from his belief that no country can be great without imparting quality education&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>To the nonagenarian&comma; Nigeria’s greatness&comma; through quality development knowledge&comma; remains the focus of ABUAD&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
