Abiodun commiserates with late Ogunpola’s family

&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">The Ogun state Government has commiserated with the family of a foremost educationist&comma; late Professor  Akinola Ogunpola on his demise in the early hours  in Abeokuta&period; <&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">The late Ogunpola was a one time Commissioner for education in Ogun State during &nbsp&semi;the Olabisi Onabanjo administration&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">&nbsp&semi;The deputy Governor&comma; Engr Noimot Salako-Oyedele who led the state delegation to his residence&comma; noted that the legacies of the deceased in the development of the education sector in the State still speaks volumes till date&comma; adding that the late Professor lived for service to God and mankind&period;&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">&&num;8220&semi;This is an occasion to celebrate a life well lived in the service for God and the people of Ogun State&comma; we are proud to call him our own and for people who were not in Abeokuta when he was here&comma; his legacy in repositioning the Education sector led to the naming of one of the model schools in the state after him&&num;8221&semi;&period; She said<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">She prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased repose and the &nbsp&semi;family the fortitude to bear the loss&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">Speaking on behalf of the family&comma; son of the deceased &comma;who is also the consultant to Governor on new media&comma; Mr Damilola Ogunpola thanked the government for identifying with them at this trying period&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;&NewLine;<p class&equals;"wp-block-paragraph">In company of the Deputy Governor were the Chief of staff to the Governor&comma; Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salisu&comma; some state commissioners&comma; Special Advisers&comma; APC leaders in the state and the daughter of the first civilian Governor of the state&comma; Mrs Adebukola Onabanjo&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
