Abeokuta South Council Chair, Ayodeji Shomide, Preaches Love At Xmas Carol

<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Abeokuta South Council Chair&comma; Ayodeji Shomide&comma; in a Christmas Carol sermon&comma; reminded citizens of the need for love as practiced by Jesus Christ<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">OpenLife Nigeria<&sol;a><&sol;strong> reports that the transition committee chairman&comma; Abeokuta South local government&comma; Honourable Ayodeji Shomide on Thursday held its Christmas carol service at the local government&comma; Secretariat&comma; Ake&comma; Abeokuta&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>At the event&comma; Shomide enjoined Nigerians to show love to the needy&comma; by giving out to them during this period in the society&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He disclosed this on Wednesday at the Christmas Carol service and end of the year thanksgiving of the local government held at the local government secretariat&comma; Abeokuta&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>In his sermon titled &&num;8220&semi;The King is Born&&num;8221&semi;&comma; the council chairman said&comma; I would love to take this precious moment to thank our Almighty Father who is in heaven&comma; for enabling us&comma; through His grace&comma; to congregate here today as brethren&comma; to thank our <strong><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;">God<&sol;a> <&sol;strong>who is heaven for His love&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;It has been a different year&comma; A year we witnessed the Pandemic Covid-19&comma; End Sars&comma; but God has made it possible for us to see another Christmas&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;On behalf of the transition committee and management of Abeokuta South local government&comma; I highly welcome each one of you as we share the love of God together&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Christmas period has been a tradition&comma; it is a season of giving&comma; we go an extra mile and share with the needy and unfortunate in the society to show them the love of Jesus Christ&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;On behalf of the staff and the organizers&comma; we are grateful to each and every one of you for coming here today&period; We know that it is not in vain&period; God made it possible for us to come here for the Carol service&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;The Lord has been good&period; Each one of us has been blessed beyond imagination&comma; We shall forever thank our God&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&&num;8220&semi;Let this Christmas period remind us what our God did to us when two thousand years ago&comma; He sent His son Jesus Christ to save humanity where me and you belong&period;”<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
