Tax Chat by KPMG, earlier slated for January 19, has been postponed
OpenLife Nigeria reports that Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler, KPMG Nigeria, an Anglo-Dutch multinational professional services network, and one of the big four accounting organizations in the world has postponed its Tax Chat which was earlier slated for today, January 19.
KPMG which stands for Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler, had, in a notice on January 13, advised participants to direct their questions and inquiries through a twitter handle @AdenikeAYF for the
January 2021 edition of the KPMG Tax Chat with the topic “Compliance Obligations Relating to Expatriate Employment in Nigeria.”
The event was billed to be hosted by Nike Yomi-Faseun, Associate Director, Tax Regulatory and People Services, KPMG in Nigeria.
The statement further assured that “We trust that you will find the discussions insightful, and look forward to your participation.”
But another statement today from KPMG reads:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Tax Chat which was scheduled to hold today has been postponed indefinitely.
We regret and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” the tax company apologized.
