Ighoyota Amori, Chairman of the Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, has been congratulated by a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Dr Henry Ofa, on the ocassion of his 68th birthday.
Chief Amori clocked 68 on August 8, 2020.
In a congratulatory message, Ofa described Chief Amori “as a highly valued leader with infallible records of good developmental feats in Delta State,” noting that his contributions to the overall advancement of Delta State remain worthy of commendation.
He said Chief Ighoyota Amori, an elder statesman and one of the foremost Urhobo leaders, has been in the vanguard of attracting social, economic and political benefits to his constituents in Ethiope-West Local Government Area and Delta State in general. He added that his tenure as Commissioner for Education and Water Resources saw a total overhaul of both sectors in the state.
Ofa said: “To many Deltans, you’re a political enigma; to us in Delta Central and Ethiope-West LGA, you’re an inspiration and a shining example of people oriented leadership.
“Your strength is markedly evident in your geniality, humility, selflessness and patriotic dispositions to public issues. Your love for humanity is only surpassed by your burning desire to put smiles on the faces of people.
“You have been instrumental to the building of unity bridges across all parts of Delta State and you have made giant positive impact on the development of Delta Central and its people.
“As one of the many beneficiaries of your goodliness, I am very pleased to rejoice with you on the anniversary of your birth and to join your family, friends and political associates to wish you the very best of your new age”.
