OpenLife News reports that De Paradise Standard Ltd CEO, Anyagbuo John Chinedu, says his firm which started in 2015 and now covers 23 states, has built its second-to-none reputation in building and roofing on certified materials, trained engineers and zero-leakage installation with warranty.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with OpenLife’s Senior Staff Writer, Isaac Ngumah, Anyagbuo John Chinedu explained that building is more than a business.
To him, it is a passion that has become part of his system.
Since 2015 when he ventured into the construction industry with seed capital raised from his farm produce, he has grown De Paradise Standard Ltd from a modest roofing outfit into a full-service building construction firm with footprints in 23 states including Abuja.
“I raised my seed capital from my farm produce. From that humble beginning, we have grown to three permanent offices. We are now planning backward integration – to source and brand our own roofing materials for our clients and expand on a much larger scale,” he disclosed
Operating from its offices in Onitsha and Enugu, with a Lagos branch in the offing, the company offers comprehensive building services.
But it is renowned for its premium roofing solutions covering residential, commercial, schools and hospitals.
What sets De Paradise apart, according to its Chief Executive Officer, is its second-to-none technical expertise and zero-leakage assurance.
“Innovation for us is systemic. We run an in-house academy where we recruit, train and retain talent, even those with no prior experience. We build them to our corporate standard, which differentiates our workmanship in the industry. That training and retention model has made us competent and consistent,” he explained.
The firm operates distinct specialization units for Aluminium long-span and Stone-Coated roofing tiles, executing jobs with kilometre-measurement precision and deploying only certified, high-gauge materials.
Its proprietary installation ideology ensures durability long after handover.
This quality, he explained, is driven by a composite team of licensed engineers, architects, certified installers and measurement managers who work as an integrated unit from design to installation.
“We design and execute any roofing configuration using standard, weather-resistant materials tailored to residential and commercial aesthetics.
“We deliver what the client wants by building trust and maintaining standards. In the process, we have trained and empowered many previously jobless youths, retained them in our workforce, and contributed to Nigeria’s economic growth,” Anyagbuo declared.
The company does not compromise on its tripod of longevity – certified materials, skilled labour and strict supervision.
Its innovation, he noted, is systemic.

This capacity-building model, which has empowered many previously jobless youths, has ensured consistency in workmanship and contributed to Nigeria’s economic growth,” Anyagbuo John Chinedu stated.

Its “professionalism,” he said, “speaks through its jobs.”
To cement client trust, the firm offers a six-month warranty through the rainy season, a strategy that has turned clients into friends and earned it consistent recommendations.
While acknowledging industry challenges such as intense competition, escalating material costs, accommodation for field workers and disruptions during the rainy season, the CEO said De Paradise’s uniqueness, high standards and strong client relationships have kept it ahead.
Competitors may try to snatch projects, but its jobs market it.
“The industry is highly competitive – others try to undercut or snatch projects. Then there is the escalating cost of materials, accommodation for field workers, and disruption during the rainy season. Our strategy is uniqueness, high-quality delivery, and strong client relationships. Our jobs market us,” the CEO said.
From a farm-funded start-up to three permanent offices, the company is now eyeing backward integration – sourcing and branding its own roofing materials – and expansion on a much larger scale.
“There is no other job that gives me joy than this profession. The commitment has become like a clock within me,” Anyagbuo said.
