OpenLife reports that a  fresh wave of online discussion has emerged following comments made by social commentator Daniel Regha, who reacted to a widely circulated claim attributed to Bishop David Oyedepo regarding a supposed “divine judgment” on bandit groups within a seven-day timeframe.

Regha’s response came amid continued reports of violent incidents across different parts of Nigeria after the period referenced in the claim had elapsed.
