Tension In Niger Delta As Former Governor Duoye Diri’s Aide
OpenLife Nigeria reports that controversy, confusion and outrage have enveloped the Niger Delta region of Nigeria following the unclear manner a 24 years old man identified as Patrick Peresousdei, died.
Information has it that due to extreme torture, Peresousdei allegedly died six days after his release from a detention facility operated by the Bayelsa State Police Command.

While the police have denied torturing the deceased in their facility, claiming that he was brought to their facility with bruises, the younger brother of Patrick Peresousdei, who was arrested alongside his deceased brother has accused security operatives of torturing Patrick while in custody, allegations the police have denied.

In a video, a prominent figure in Nigerian civil and political rights who is also a social media influencer, activist, critic and philanthropist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, alleged that Bodmas Prince Kemepadei, a Bayelsa State-based social media influencer, blogger and former media aide to Governor Douye Diri is responsible.

Bodmas Prince Kemepadei previously served as a Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Governor of Bayelsa State.
In 2021, Kemepadei who has also gained notoriety for public statements, such as arguing that men need more than one woman for stability, was reportedly arrested by the DSS for making controversial statements about insecurity in Nigeria.
In a detailed and sequential analyses of what happened and how Patrick Peresousdei eventually died, VeryDarkMan called for the arrest of Bodmas Prince Kemepadei to explain his involvement or otherwise in the death of the 24 years old man. VeryDarkMan stated that Kemepadei allegedly led a group that abducted and severely beat Patrick Peresuodei in Bayelsa State, resulting in his death.
Other accounts state that Bodmas Kemepadei has been declared “Enemy of Community” and has been officially declared an enemy of the Amassoma community in Bayelsa State.
