Family Doctor Criticizes Nkubi’s Wife for Conceiving with Husband

OpenLife Nigeria reports that Nkubi’s wife, Vivian Nkwirula, has revealed a jaw-dropping comment she received from her doctor during her pregnancy, sparking outrage and heated conversations online.

Nkubi, whose real name is Nwaogu Udochukwu Victor, is a popular Nollywood actor’s shared that her doctor questioned why she chose to conceive with her husband, Nwaogu Udochukwu Victor (Nkubi), who has dwarfism, instead of opting for a sperm donor or another relative.

“The doctor asked, ‘Does anyone have a trait of dwarfism in your family?’ and I said, ‘Yes, that is my husband.’ The doctor said, why didn’t you go to your brother-in-law, or outside to get pregnant, instead of getting pregnant for your husband? Or even get a sperm donor, that’s what a doctor told me,” Vivian said.

Her revelation has ignited discussions about bias and judgment faced by couples when one partner has a physical condition, exposing how some professionals can lack sensitivity and understanding.
