Senator Smart Adeyemi Is An Ingrate
OpenLife Nigeria reports that Senator Smart Adeyemi, representing Kogi West, has been described as an ingrate who is technically unfit to occupy Lord Lugard Government House as a governor in Kogi State.
This was the submission of Honourable Kingsley Fanwo, the commissioner of Information in the 22 years old State during an Arise TV live programme Tuesday morning.
Fanwo, who was responding to Senator Smart Adeyemi’s outburst on account of his failure to clinch the November 11 guber ticket, said the Senator only publicly exhibited his well known ingratitude, which he said has been his hallmarks.
He noted that governor Yahaya Bello, who Senator Adeyemi described the previous day as tyrant, actually rehabilitated Adeyemi when he was a political ophan and lost in the Kogi political space.
Fanwo explained that in any electoral contest, only one aspirant is expected to become candidate adding that Adeyemi’s outcry is a function of greed.
He faulted the claims by Adeyemi that he was disallowed to vote during the primary election which held in Lokoja.
According to Fanwo, the Senator only churned out propaganda because he holed himself up in the midst of “mobs” who were not financial as well as card carrying members of the party, saying allowing those unknown people to vote translates to abuse of APC constitution which clearly spells out the qualifications for delegates.
Commissioner Fanwo stated further that Senator Adeyemi is a serial betrayal whose records of betraying his benefactors during his days as NUJ President and as a Senator are legendary.
“He has bitten the fingers that fed him. He lost to a better candidate. The mobs he gathered didn’t have the qualifications to vote for him. Yahaya Bello rehabilitated him when he became political ophan.
“As NUJ President, he betrayed officials including business moguls that supported him.
“Why is he calling governor Bello tyrant?
INEC officers witnessed the primary including media and security agencies.
The current Kogi West Senate-Elect, at some point, helped Adeyemi to win Senate in the past,” Fanwo enumerated.
