OpenLife Nigeria reports that African leading philanthropist and businessman, Alhaji Salamu Amadu has re stated his commitment to curbing unemployment not only in Ghana but across Africa in line with his business expansion policy across the Continent and beyond.
The founder of Afro Arab Group of companies disclosed this when one of its subsidiaries, Afro Arab Microfinance, received Customer Service Focused Microfinance Company of the Year 2022-23 award.
The awards ceremony which was organized by Ghana Customer Service Excellence Recognition Scheme, GCSERS, held at the Accra City Hotel and had stakeholders from the financial, tourism, education, and business industry gracing the event.
The General Manager of Afro Arab Microfinance Mr. Ebenezer Egyir Tetteh in his remarks commended the organizers of the Award.
“First of all, let me commend the organizers of the award for recognizing our efforts. We dedicate the award to our cherished customers because we couldn’t have achieved this without them”.
Mr. Egyir Tetteh noted that the Afro Arab Microfinance board chaired by its Founder and CEO Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu will continue to put customers first always.
“The board chaired by our visionary founder and CEO will always put our customers first because without them the business wouldn’t have achieved this great milestone”.
Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, the Board Chairman of Afro Arab Microfinance also added that Afro Arab Microfinance will continue to Champion Women and Youth empowerment to help curb unemployment in the country and also dedicated the award to the customers of the Afro Arab Microfinance.
“We shall continue to support the women and youth entrepreneurs in the country. Let me also use this platform to dedicate the award to our cherished customers who believed in the vision, and aim and keep patronizing our services”.
He added that the youth are the backbone of the economy, therefore the need to encourage and support youth entrepreneurs, especially those operating in deprived communities like Zongos and other inner cities across the country.
“It is the hope and dream of the Microfinance to reach all SMEs across the country and reduce Poverty in our Zongos and inner cities”, he added.
