Faith Alhassan, a 20 years old mother kills her own baby to marry former boy friend
OpenLife Nigeria reports that a mother has thrown own baby into well to marry former boyfriend.
According to the story made available to OpenLife, a 20 years old mother simply identified as Faith Alhassan, has been apprehended by Police operatives in Kaduna state, for killing her own baby by throwing her into a deep well, to enable her marry her former boyfriend.

This online medium gathered that the ex boyfriend had previously told her that he was not ready to accept her and the baby. This fueled Faith, into doing the unthinkable, which landed her in Police custody.

Police operatives, disclosed that on December 28, 2020 at about 7:00am, the corpse of a baby girl was found in a well at Gantan village of Kachia local government area of the State.

They said upon the finding, they set out to find the person responsible of such atrocity. Police operatives said, on going around the village, and asking questions pertaining the incident, they came upon the suspect, and arrested her.

According to the Police, the culprit went into Gantan village with the baby girl to meet her former boyfriend, who goes by the name Dolan Yakubu whom she dumped years back.

The Police said it was after the Father of her ex boyfriend complained about the baby, that she went outside, where she saw a well, and threw the baby inside the well.

However, Faith, who is currently in Police custody told newsmen that she didn’t kill her baby because she wanted to marry her former boyfriend.

She however, told journalist that she didn’t know what came upon her and drove her into doing the thing she did.

“I am here because of my daughter that I threw into the well and she died, I don’t know what came over me when I carried out the act.”

“I did not kill her because I want to marry, I just don’t know what entered me, I am not happy for doing, ” she said.

Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Police Commissioner CP Umar M. Muri said that she will be arraigned in court upon completion of the investigation.
