Nigerian Army Organizes 2 -Day Physical Training For Officers

Nigerian Army strategizes ahead of military operations through fitness

OpenLife reports that the Nigerian Army is organizing a two-day physical training exercise for its officers.
Informing the general public, Colonel Sagir Musa, Acting Director Army Public Relations, in a statement, said the Directorate of Army Physical Training, DAPT, will between November 2- 4 organized a 2-day Officers Training Conference for its officers.

According to the Army spokesman, the Conference will take place at Ogundeko Hall, Nigerian Military School Zaria by 8:00am daily.
The theme of the 2020 Conference is “Repositioning the Nigerian Army Physical Training Corps through Effective Training in Support of the Nigerian Army Operations and Excellence in Sports.”

Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusufu Buratai is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour.

“The Conference is aimed at exploring options for repositioning the DAPT to meet contemporary fitness challenges in the Nigerian Army in support of the Nigerian Army’s operations and exercises.
“The occasion will witness a series of lectures which will be delivered by seasoned academicians and professionals.

Consequently, invited members of the public are welcomed,” Sagir stated.
