2023: Peter Obi will make a better president than Atiku -Keyamo

<p><strong>The Minister of State for Labour and Employment&comma; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">Festus Keyamo<&sol;a> has revealed that <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;Openlife&period;ng">Atiku Abubakar<&sol;a> does not have enough leadership experience to be the next President of Nigeria&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Keyamo who is the spokesperson for the Bola Tinubu presidential campaign team spoke on Friday during a Channels TV&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He submitted that the Labour Party presidential candidate&comma; Peter Obi has more experience in making the final call in government&comma; which makes him a better candidate than the Peoples Democratic Party &lpar;PDP&rpar; candidate&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>While praising Asiwaju Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress &lpar;APC&rpar; as the most qualified of all the frontline presidential aspirants for 2023&comma; Keyamo said Atiku though is the major contender against Tinubu&comma; has not shown the capacity to make final decisions&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>He argued that Atiku has only been the Vice President but the Vice President doesn’t have the final say in making decisions in government while both Obi and Tinubu are former Governors who have occupied positions where they can make final decisions&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Keyamo added that Obi has more experience in making the final call in governance than Atiku and it would therefore be wrong to hand over the leadership of Nigeria to the PDP candidate come 2023&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Speaking on Channels TV&comma; he said&colon; &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;<em><strong>A president does not do everything himself&comma; he makes the final call&period; He only listens to the experts around him and the job of a president is not to be the economist&comma; is not to be the lawyer&comma; is not to be the expert&comma; no&period; The job of the president is to listen to the experts and to make the final call&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em><strong>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has the capacity to make the final call&period; The major rival we have today has not held any executive position where he makes the final call in government so we can not second guess&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em><strong>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Atiku Abubakar has never held any government position where he makes the final call&period; He was Vice President&comma; he was not the chief executive&comma; he was never Governor&comma; he was never anything&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;openlife&period;ng&sol;labour-party-governorship-candidate-arrested-in-abuja-photos&sol;">2023&colon; Labour Party Candidate Arrested In Abuja &lpar;PHOTOS&rpar;<&sol;a><&sol;h1>&NewLine;<p><em><strong>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Even Peter Obi is ahead of Atiku Abubakar&period; Peter Obi is ahead of him in terms of capacity to make decisions&period; So how are we going to hand over the country to somebody who has never shown the capacity&comma; who has never held the position where he makes the final call&period; A Vice President does not make the final call&period;<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em><strong>&OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;Atiku Abubakar is not tested&comma; he’s not trusted&period; He has never held any such position&comma; even Obi is ahead of him&period;”<&sol;strong><&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;
