A 100level Mass Communication Student of Redeemers University (RUN), Ireoluwa Akinlaja, has reportedly been abducted in Ogun State.
According to a social media user who referred to the victim as his nephew, Akinlaja was reportedly abducted on Saturday afternoon around Interchange, Ogun state.
Akinlaja was coming back from RUN and he was dropped by the school-arranged bus while waiting for his parent to pick him up.
However, before his parents got to where he was dropped within an interval of 10mins, the mother got a text that allegedly read “I have been kidnapped.”
He tweeted, “My nephew was kidnapped yesterday in the afternoon (2pm) around interchange Ogun state. He was coming back from school (RUN) he was dropped there by the school arranged bus, while waiting for his parent to pick him up.
“Before they got there in an interval of 10mins, the mother Receive a text message that reads “I have been kidnapped” the situation was immediately reported at the /Egba division. Later in the evening yesterday a message was sent to his mother vis his own phone, that reads “I will be used for rituals 2morrow”.

“The Ogun state police command are doing their best, but this is just a message to everyone and anyone that can assist with this present situation. The last point of tracking location was IKORODU. The victim’s name is IREOLUWA AKINLAJA a 100level Mass Communication student.
“Redeemers University of Nigeria (RUN). Pls help us find my nephew. As at this very moment of tweeting, his phone is still ringing and available but no one is picking. This is his phone number 09123790773.
